What's up weirdos? Today is Fam and Friends Friday so let's just get right into this story. Now as most of you guys know I come from a big family. I have seven siblings plus nine foster kids which we have hosted within the span of a year and a half. Our first foster kid was a little girl named Addie. Addie was a delight but also got herself into several tough situations (such a surprise that a two-year-old would get into stuff, right?). One day, my mom was "watching" Addie and the loud two-year-old was suddenly completely silent. Now when a normally loud kid goes quiet you better be ready for one heck of a disaster my friend (there is little parenting advice for all the moms and dads reading my blog). When my mom finally noticed the silence and went to go check on Addie and found the kid COVERED in lotion. How my mom couldn't smell the shea butter from her spot on the table I have yet to figure out. It took tons of diaper wipes and a bath to get the lotion off of her but thankfully, Addie never got into anything else ever again... Just kidding! She also got into butter and eyeliner but that is a story for another time. Hope you enjoyed the first post on Fam amd Friends Friday folks!

From "The Mom": In my defense, Addie was just on the other side of the table when this happened. She is fast, let me tell you! She had just had a bath and lotion before putting her pajamas on, so of course I smelled the lotion but didn't think it was any stronger than before. Her silence is what alerted me to trouble. Speaking of silence....I didn't hear you ask me to grade your math and health workbooks today Ms. Kinley. :)
